Terms of Business

Executive Resolutions charges fees via a two-stage process:

  • One-third upon commencement of the assignment.
  • The balance upon the successful completion and appointment.

Our fees are calculated on a proportion of the first year's remuneration consisting of salary, company vehicle (valued at $25000), superannuation and an agreed component of any bonus and/or incentive payment.

Executive Search - 30%

This method is generally used for senior or highly confidential appointments and/or where specialist skillls are sought.

Ad Search - 24%

This approach is used when an advertisement is complimented by targeted search activity to further enhance the available pool.

General Recruitment - 20%

This is used for general recruitment where an advertisement and/or a search of our database identifies an appropriate candidate. This fee also applies in the event of an informal referral.

Executive Contracting & Consulting 

As a result of differing project, objectives, circumstances and deadlines, fees are quoted on an individual basis and are generally based on a daily rate.

Costs & Terms

All other expenses including advertising, physchological appraisal and travel is charged to the client at cost. Any candidate introduced via Executive Resolutions, who is engaged in any capacity within 12 months of that introduction, most recent interview or recent contract engagement (whichever last occured), by the same organisation, subsidiary, related party, hiring or supervising manager, renders the original organisation (or other entity in the case of a start-up or affiliated organisation associated with any stakeholder aforementioned hiring the same candidate) liable for recruitment fees.

GST

All services will attract 10% Goods and Services Tax.

Guarantee

Where a candidate is appointed through Executive Resolutions and is terminated or leaves within 3 months of services, we will provide a replacement free of further recruitment fees (except in the case of rendundancy or retrenchment), provided the following conditions occur:-

  • All invoices are paid within 14 days.
  • The candidate is asked to leave for reasons of non-perfomance, breach of contract and/or leaves of their own volition for reasons other than the role not matching the original description.
  • The replacement assignment specification does not subsequently change fundamentally.

Where a candidate has been on contract for over 3 months and then offered permanent employment, this guarantee will not apply.

Confidentiality

All information provided by Executive Resolutions is branded "Commercial in Confidence", whether express or implied and is therefore striclty prohibited from disclosure to any other party, without the direct written consent of Executive Resolutions.

Liability

Whilst every reasonable endeavour is exhausted to ensure the suitabilty of individuals presented, Executive Resolutions does not accept any responsibility for any claims, error, loss or damage caused by referred individuals.

Acceptance of Terms of Business

Your request to engage Executive Resolutions to proceed with an assignment or initiate discussions with a referred candidate represents your acceptance of these Terms of Business.
